Laithan’s Honey began in 2020, during a time when the world slowed down and many of us were searching for purpose, stability, and connection. What started as a simple hobby during the pandemic quickly grew into something much deeper—a passion rooted in nature, learning, and legacy.
At first, beekeeping was simply a way to try something new. But the more time I spent working with the bees, the more respect I developed for their role in our world. Honey bees play an essential part in pollinating many of the foods and plants we depend on every day. That realization transformed a hobby into something much more meaningful.
As a Black-owned small business, Laithan’s Honey is about more than producing quality honey. It is about building something meaningful for the future.
This journey is about creating a legacy for my children and showing them the value of hard work, patience, ownership, and creating something with your own hands. It is about passing down knowledge, pride, and opportunity from one generation to the next.
Every hive represents growth. Every jar represents dedication. And every step forward is part of a bigger vision—to create opportunities, inspire curiosity, and leave something lasting behind.
